Corner Worker/Marshal

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The Corner Worker/Marshal is responsible for an assigned area on our racetrack for events. They are responsible for the safety of competitors and are stationed at various points of turns

around racetracks to assist and communicate in case of any collisions, accidents or track problems.

Essential Functions

  1. Ability to work outdoors at trackside

  3. Use color-­‐coded flags to properly communicate track conditions to vehicles on the

  5. Provides statistical and performance feedback to immediate

Work Environment

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-­‐time position. Days and hours vary per event. Mostly 8 hour weekend days ranging in between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Occasional holiday work may be required as job duties demand.

Kart Grid Crew Member

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The Kart Grid position consists of constant teamwork and communication. Responsible to make sure all customers are following the proper procedures during karting sessions and understand the briefing.

Essential Functions

  1. Check and maintain that the pit area is clean and ready for when the park
  2. Fuel and wash karts on a daily basis during opening
  3. Once grid opens and heats are scheduled, the responsibility of the Grid Crew Member is to interact with customers and begin briefing, issue and assist with helmets, direct customers to assigned
  4. On flag station, use color-­‐coded flags to properly communicate track conditions to karts on the
  5. Shares continual responsibility for helping identify incidents and issues on track and ensuring it is properly communicated

Fire & Rescue – Firefighter / EMT

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The Firefighter/EMT protects life and property by performing firefighting, emergency aid, and fire prevention duties. The position maintains fire equipment, apparatus and facilities.

Essential Functions

  • Performs emergency aid activities, including administering first aid and providing other assistance as required.
  • Maintains fire equipment, apparatus and facilities. Performs minor repairs to departmental equipment.
  • Performs general maintenance work in the upkeep of fire facilities and equipment; cleans and washes walls and floors; cares for grounds around station; makes minor repairs; washes, hangs and dries hose; washes, cleans, polishes, maintains and tests apparatus and equipment.
  • Performs duties as a certified EMT or Firefighter, according to criteria and standards set forth by the department.
  • Master the use of all appropriate rescue equipment and proper safety procedures to effectively support track operations during all track events.
  • Be proficient in all towing equipment and proper towingtechniques.
  • Use hand held radios to keep in constant contact with the person running “control.”
  • Work outdoors in a fastpaced, team environment.
  • Assists in training new employees as assigned.

Work Environment

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective The Kart Retail POS Cashier position consists of constant teamwork and communication. Responsible for meeting customer needs and provide services beyond customer’s expectations.

Essential Functions

  1. Greet Customers and direct them to different locations around the park.
  2. Promote Sales and upcoming events.
  3. Answer phone calls in a professional manner.
  4. Educate customers on the rules and safety regulations of karting.

  6. Responsible for getting customers to register, sign waiver and banded before riding on Kart.
  7. Responsible for retail store, inventory, refunds, cash handling and sale transactions.
